Following the inaugural Letsrecycle Live event which took place in May this year, parent company the Environment Media Group (EMG), has provided an update on plans for the next show, on 12 & 13 May 2021 at Stoneleigh, Coventry.
And, EMG said it was pleased to announced that Letsrecycle Live has been shortlisted in the Best Trade Show Launch category at the 2019 Exhibition News Indy Awards. (EMG is also the parent company of letsrecycle.com).
In a statement, EMG said that “Letsrecycle Live certainly caused a splash in the market. With the event taking place every two years – the show promises to retain the feel and atmosphere that made the first event such a success, while expanding the footprint of the show to cater for high exhibitor demand.”
Recycling demonstrations
With a focus on live elements, one of Letsrecycle Live’s highlights was the busy live demonstration area where machinery was seen processing material in its intended environment. To allow more space for visitors to see equipment such as balers and shredders put through their paces, a brand new demonstration area is being opened at the next event, said the organisers.
And there is also to be a greater focus on energy from waste, while recognising the shows emphasis on recycling and minimisation.

The 2021 edition will see the launch of a brand new show zone dedicated to the global energy from waste and alternative fuels sector with room for more than 40 businesses to exhibit.
The EMG statement said that exhibitors are already booking their spaces and “early indications would put the exhibitor rebooking rate above 90%”. Following high demand for indoor exhibition space, Letsrecycle Live will open a brand new hall providing an extra 15,000 square feet of space which will allow for even more innovative products and services.
Conferences
The show will also see the introduction of two new conference theatres, one in the Energy & Alternative Fuels Zone. The other will provide practical guidance in the Plant & Machinery Zone addressing topics such as baler training, lock-out systems and other topics aimed at improving safety and efficiency, all described as “relevant for operators on the ground”.

2021 will see the return of the celebrated ‘Inn on the Green’ as well as other catering and leisure provision. The organisers have said there will also be no parking fees and free shuttles between the show and public transport.
